Rayne Killswitch

Description

The Rayne Killswitch, designed by downhill racer Kevin Reimer, has become one of the most sought after speed boards in the downhill racing scene. The deck design is wide, and mostly symmetrical (The extra wheelbase option on the tail adds another inch to the board). With the pleasure dome technology adjusted to fit K-Rimes specifications, this board will keep you comfortably locked into all of your stand-up and hands-down slides and pre-drifts, too. The Rayne Killswitch downhill longboard skateboard can easily be made to maneuver well for pedestrian dodging on a college campus. At a length of 38″ it’s easy to carry around with you and light weight, too. I would take it to any hill and throw down some serious freeride sessioning after class on the Killswitch… After doing all of my homework of course! For downhill racing you should try 180mm Randal RII’s or Bear Grizzly 852 longboard skateboard trucks with Venom or Khiro DH barrel bushings. You would want to try a harder durometer for more stability and control at higher speeds. A 70mm longboard skateboard wheel like the Retro Zigzags or Orangatang 4 Presidents would be the perfect choice for bombing some serious hills. 70mm longboard skateboard wheels are a great all-around option because they lend quicker acceleration and are easier to push than larger wheels. This exact same set up but with a slight change to softer DH longboard skateboard bushings can make for a better freeride combination. Get out there and kill it!!
