However, during summer months this spot is crowded with tourists and its not easily accessible for kiting!

Akrotiri spot is one of the most popular Cyprus kitesurfing spots for wave riding that works during the summer as well as winter months. From April to September this spot is favoured with a south west sea breeze and during the winter months with west storms that bring lots of wind and waves. Its not far from Kurium kiteboarding spot, but as it is located further south on the peninsula it is more consistent with waves. It also has a nice drive through the salt lakes before arriving at the spot!
